"Tanzanian Peaberry is a wonderfully smooth and full bodied coffee with notes of citrus, berry, spice, with a chocolatey aroma. It also has the classic wine-like finish of many East African coffee beans, making it clean and crisp. It’s very flavorful without being overpowering. Coffee beans are the seeds from the fruit of the coffee tree. Typically, each fruit contains two seeds which face each other on their flat sides. However, a small percentage of the fruits actually contain a single, rounded seed, referred to as a peaberry. Peaberries are reputed to roast more evenly than the more common flat berries, due to their rounder shape. Many experts also believe that the single peaberries also absorb all the flavors and qualities that would normally be divided between two seeds, making for a more flavorful cup of coffee."
