"Back in 2016, our friends at the Colombian coffee company Banexport took us to Cauca to visit with growers in the shadow of the Sotará volcano. A small group of pioneering farmers committed to quality showed up that first day, and we named this coffee for them. The Pioneros group has grown from just seven back in 2016 to more than 100 today. This lot reflects the best of the 2020 harvest from ten different members of the group.
